I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2011.

As each month passed I was in more pain than ever, which continued day after day.  I had also 2 different bouts of Lyme disease in a 3 year period. All I wanted to do was lay my tired aching body on a couch.

I knew I did not want to just be given prescription medication but to see a doctor who was a rheumatologist, very familiar with fibromyalgia, and who also was open to all methods of health and wellness.

After reading 5 books on fibromyalgia, they all said familiar things:  that my ability to feel better was determined by me taking an active part in my healing in a myriad of different ways.  It seemed overwhelming.  I knew when I came across Dr. Keller’s practice it fit the bill and I felt that I could be helped by her medically, and also supported in a sound wellness program.

I called her office to speak to the receptionist and to my surprise Dr. Keller answered the phone and spoke with me at least 20 minutes about my condition. Needless to say I knew I found the help I had been looking for.  She is a good listener and is up on the latest information.

I have never had a doctor give me so much of her time and care in my 46 years of life.  After the first visit I felt like I had some answers and some hope.   Over the past months I have felt her support over the phone, in office visits and through email.   Every time I call or email the office staff are kind, helpful and supportive.

I  can happily  say that I do not physically feel as bad as I did this past summer. My pain has lessened, I have more energy, my head is clearer, and with Dr. Keller’s help, direction and support I am working on reducing stress in my life and improving my sleep.  I look forward now to feeling better and moving forward with my life.

I am grateful to Dr. Keller and Laura at the Optimal Wellness Center, and to my husband for their support and help. There are not words enough to say to thank them for the difference they have made in my life.
